The Internet has now become an important way for product and service advertisements.  By far, all the companies these days can afford print, TV’s and Radios have begun to start placing advertisements on websites. But with millions of websites out there being visited by millions of computer users, how can you make sure that your ad can be seen by your target customers and that your leads will be followed by these users?  Here are a few tips.

1.  You need to put ads on websites that are visited by your customers very often.  Before this you first need to know who are your target customers.  Placing an ad on sites that they usually visit will increase the possibility that your ad will gain the attention and will be followed your target customers.
2.  To put up ads on some of the sites can cost some money.  If you don’t want to spend any money then there are sites available that can place a link on their site, but in exchange you have to place a link to their product on your site.
3.  Pay-per-click (PPC) is also a good method in Internet marketing.  The only time you pay money is when your ad is clicked.  If you are going to use this method then you need to make sure that you are using services that allow you set a daily expense limit.  With this kind of advertisement there are other tools available for you to help you know how good the chosen keyword.
4.  Choose your domain name wisely.  It is still being debated if domain names matter when it comes to search engine placement.  Wheather this does affect the search engine placement or not, if you have a domain name that is realted to your product then your customers will definately remember it and wont need a link to visit your site again.
5. Have useful information on your website. Keyword density is of course important but if you have got the same thing over and over again the the visitor will most probably get annoyed and end up leaving your site.  Such practises can affect the traffic on your site so please make sure that the you don’t use the keywords excessively.
6.  When you are thinking about keywords you need to think like your customer. What do you think that they will search for that will land them on your site? Oh yes and you need to use very specific keywords and phrases.
